Ultimate Smash Burger

Ingredients
- 3lbs 80/20 hamburger meat
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup shreddded colby jack cheese
- 4-5 shakes of your favorite burger seasoning (Back Porch Burger)
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 12 Cheedar Cheese slices
- 1 pkg hamburger buns
- 1/2 onion (optional
- 1/2 lb jalapeƱos (optional)
- 5 slices of bacon, cut in half (optional)
Instructions
- Add hamburger meat, egg, shredded cheese, burger seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce to a mixing bowl
- Mix until everything looks evenly incorporated
- Pre-heat flattop to medium-high heat
- If you want any of the optional items, now is the time to add them to the flattop
- Start portioning the hamburger meat into 1/3 lb balls and place on a cookie sheet.
- Once all the meat is portioned, it is time to add it to our hot flattop
- Flip the optional items or remove them if they are fully cooked to your liking
- Add hamburger balls evenly spaced out, don't overcrowd your cooktop
- Let them cook for about a minute, and then smash them as thin as you can get them
- Prepare to add cheese slices to the smashed patties
- Flip the patties once the top is almost fully cooked
- Add cheese, and then grab a pan to put the cooked burgers in
- Once the cheese is melted to your liking, remove it from the flattop
- Open buns and add your preferred condiments
